❄ A coastal low is taking over the weather pattern, and will pummel parts of the United States Megalopolis cities with tremendous snowfall...
Low pressure beginning to wind up in the coastal plains of South Carolina will set the stage for a wallop of snow for some of the major city hubs of the East Coast. Philadelphia, Newark, New York, Boston, and Bangor should all experience hefty snowfall of more than 12 inches, along with windy conditions. Deep, rich Atlantic moisture, with ocean temperatures running warm, will allow for significant precipitation to occur. Combine that with strong High Pressure damming cold air in from the Canadian Provinces will set all of this in motion for a Megalopolis Monster.

You can see the massive coverage of Winter Storm Warnings from Virginia to Maine. Many areas will be under warnings through the day Monday. Most areas can expect snowfall over a foot, but some areas will approach over 2 feet of snow. Do not be surprised if someone in the Adirondack Mountains threaten 30 inches. Only slowly on the day Tuesday will the storm finally push into the northern Atlantic abd away from the United States. This storm could be a harbinger of things to come as we progress through February.
