A Winter Storm continues to drop impressive snow totals in the West...
October 25, 2020
Meteorologist: Joshua Ketchen
A strong weather system continues to bring incredible snowfall amounts to parts of the Rocky Mountain High Plains this afternoon and evening. This upper level low pressure system will push south and east over the next few days. Winter Weather impacts will decrease heading into the work week. The chance for snow will return to places in the west next weekend.

Snow totals have ranged from 12 to 20 inches in many high terrain locations. Some heavy bursts of snow have been observed with several on our storm report map above. Long range models indicate a brief warm-up across the country before additional cold shots of air drop south from Canada to start out November.
